| A Review of Adrienne Vittadini |
|
|
Hobbies can sometimes lead to a
multi-million dollar business, which is what happened when fashion guru
Adrienne Vittadini started her hobby of designing clothes and
accessories. She was born in Budapest in 1945, and emmigrated to
America with her family after they escaped the 1956 Hungarian
Revolution. She developed her gift at the Moore College of Art and
Design in Philadelphia.
The brand name she developed has been associated with elegance and a more European style. It’s not a staid brand however, and Adrienne Vittadini is fond of using bold colors for her fabrics. Her range is varied and includes ladies’ clothing, swimsuits, shoes, handbags, and perfumes.
Kim Basinger, Candice Bergen, and broadcaster Joan Lunden are just some of the TV personalities who love to be seen in her creations. She designs both casual outfits and formal wear. She also designs jewelry that includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and rings. She often uses jet and tiger’s eye designs on her ring creations. The jewelry items she makes tend to be very feminine and modest.
Adrienne Vittadini also designs sunglasses, watches, and a luggage range called Travel ware. You can match a complete outfit with accessories such as belts, hats, and scarves.
The scarves come in squares and boas and the belts have various designs, including calfskin, suede, leather and chain, and open wear chain link. She thinks of everything, right down to hosiery, such as camisole, fine mesh, and seamless.
These cannot be redeemed online but there are plans to expand the service to allow that in the near future. For special occasions, you can also order items like candle sets, and perfume gift boxes from the Adrienne Vittadini range to be packed in a gift box all wrapped up with a ribbon. This is also available online as a complimentary service.
Her story is about a true enterprise, rewarded with success. In 2001, the business was acquired by Retail Brand Alliance. Adrienne Vittadini was placed by People Magazine in their chart of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World in 1992.
Like many other immigrants, Adrienne came to the US to escape from political turmoil, and has gain fame and success through hard work and diligence.
